ASTERLIÁN blends modern metal music with asian elements.

Although its songs are mainly in English the band's sound definitely has strong Japanese Anime Music or J-pop vibes. It is therefore through a purely musical approach that Asian influences manifest themselves, making extensive use of traditional instruments like the Erhu or Guzheng over baritone guitar riffs and modern production.

The five musicians, proud of a 10-year successful french career under the band name STARRYSKY where they performed hundred of shows in front of 4-figure audiences in many European countries including France, Belgium, Switzerland, UK and Germany (Japan Expo, Gamescom, Polymanga) and notably worked with HoYoVerse, Tencent, Ankama, Squeezie, Maliki, Noob and many others, decided to gather again under the name ASTERLIÁN to set out to conquer international audiences, with the belief that their unique hybrid style could appeal beyond Europe borders.
